After school today, Hali, Hellen, Joni and I went downtown for the afternoon. We had some ice-cream, did some shopping and spent about an hour at Starbucks just sitting :) At 5:30, we went back to school to met up with some of our Chinese friends. They ended up taking us to a Chinese Karaoke bar. It was very different from what I know a Karaoke bar to be. We ended up having our own personal room with a big-screen tv and a computer to choose songs off of. We also went into this mini-grocery store inside the club and picked out snacks and drinks. It was really fun. We had our own little party in this room. We sang, we laughed, we danced ... we had a good time. The GSU girls sang English songs and David, Spring, Samantha and Diana sang Chinese songs. Joni and I left around 8:30 p.m. to head back to our host families but I think we had had enough singing for one night. Who would have thought? I got to go to Chinese Karaoke at "ATT Bomb" (name of the club).
